大畈遗址2013年度的试掘发现了一批东周时期的灰坑、沟、灶等遗迹,出土了数量较多的陶、铁器等遗物。这批遗存的年代大致从春秋中晚期延续至战国中期前后,各类陶器中鬲、盆、豆、罐等楚文化因素的器物始终占主要地位,但同时也有以鼎为主的一批器物表现出浓厚的地方特征。这批资料对于我们探讨楚文化进入湘江流域的时间、路线以及与本地文化之间的关系等问题提供了有价值的线索。
A large number of relics such as pits, ditches and stoves in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty were discovered during the excavation of the site in 2013. These materials provide valuable clues for us to discuss the time, route and the relationship between Chu culture and the local culture in the Chu culture.
