滨水区特别是海岸线拥有许多生命形式,蕴含有丰富的生态关系与意义。它们与艺术一样影响人类的生活与生存。但是,就像在土耳其可以看到的那样,一些人为改造滨水区与海岸线的项目造成人与自然的等级化、可操控、可开发的关系,植物消失,环境污染,生活情趣与美学价值荡然无存,严重破坏了该地区的生态环境。虽然有些执着的艺术家们试图用艺术方式来维护滨水区,某些植物重新回到这类地区,但是,要真正有效地、全面地保护滨水区的环境美,还需要更多的人们来努力维护它的自然特性。
The waterfront, especially the coastline, has many life forms and contains rich ecological relations and significance. They, like art, affect human life and existence.
