中国同盟会作为第一个全国统一的领导中国近代民族民主革命的革命团体,在以孙中山为首的民族资产阶级革命力量的领导下,为推翻封建帝制立下了不朽功勋。中国同盟会亦积极在台湾发展力量,吸收了一批渴望进步的台湾有志青年加入,成立了中国同盟会台湾分会。台湾分会虽然局限于当时的国际国内形势而在台湾活动时间不长,但是仍然在一定程度上激发和强化了台湾省人民的祖国意识,对挫败日本殖民当局使“汉人变为不是汉人,中国人变为不是中国人”的“皇民化”企图起了一定的积极作用。
As the first nationwide unified revolutionary group that led the modern national-democratic revolution in China, under the leadership of the revolutionary forces of the national bourgeoisie headed by Sun Yat-sen, the Chinese Alliance has established an immortal feat to overthrow the feudal monarchy.
