In recent years, significant progress has been made in the productization of fiber optic gyro technology. This article reviews the development of McDonnell Douglas from the early development of oil drilling tools to the development of product-made fiber optic gyroscopes, and evaluated the current level of development of fiber optic gyroscopes based on the status of recent products.
