1 Overview Different semirigid materials have very different temperature shrinkage properties. The temperature-shrinkability (including temperature-shrinkage coefficient and temperature-dependent strain) of the stabilized fine-grained soil such as lime soil, cement soil and lime fly ash soil are the largest. However, unless there is a wide range of daily temperature differences, it is common to stabilize fine grained soil so that no tarnishing cracks occur at normal temperatures even if the asphalt pavement is laid more quickly during or after maintenance. Because the asphalt surface layer, especially the thick asphalt surface layer has a good thermal insulation effect on the semi-rigid base layer, so that the top surface temperature of the base layer is obviously less than that of the asphalt surface or exposed base surface. In addition, the rate of change of temperature on the top of the grassroots is also lower than that of the surface, which is conducive to the relaxation of temperature stress in the grassroots. However, semi-rigid base
