中国南方航空股份有限公司(南航)是中国最大的航空公司之一,截止2005年,南航拥有航线666条,所经营的机队共有252架,完成旅客运输量为4400多万人次,主营业收入为 380多亿人民币。由于民航运输业的激烈竞争,也由于行业的特殊性和复杂性,信息技术在国际民航业的应用十分深入。尤其是在国际先进的航空公司,信息技术已经成为支撑航空公司业务的不可或缺的工具。
China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. (CSA) is one of the largest airlines in China. As of 2005, China Southern had 666 routes and operated 252 fleets of aircraft with a total passenger traffic of more than 44 million passengers. Its main business income More than 380 billion yuan. Due to the fierce competition in the civil aviation transportation industry and due to the particularity and complexity of the industry, the application of information technology in the international civil aviation industry is very deep. Especially in international advanced airlines, information technology has become an indispensable tool to support airlines’ businesses.
