涂硼稻草管中子探测器将替代3 He管探测器应用在清华大学微型脉冲强子源(CPHS)小角散射谱仪上。该文设计了针对该新型位置灵敏中子探测器的读出电子学系统,通过分析探测器和前端电路的噪声,得出了位置分辨率的估算方法,并结合根据探测器输出信号特征优化了电路参数。对1.0m长的涂硼稻草管及其读出电子学系统分别进行了电荷注入测试和中子束流测试,位置分辨率的测试结果分别为2.7mm和4.5 mm。实验结果表明:涂硼稻草管及其读出电子学系统的性能可以满足CPHS小角散射谱仪对中子位置测量的需求。
Boron coated straw tube neutron detector will be used instead of 3 He tube detector at Tsinghua University micro pulse wastron source (CPHS) small angle scattering spectrometer. This paper designs a readout electronics system for the new position-sensitive neutron detector. By analyzing the noise of the detector and the front-end circuit, a method for estimating the position resolution is derived. In combination with the characteristics of the detector output signal, Circuit parameters. The charge injection test and neutron beam test were carried out on a 1.0m long bared straw tube and its readout electronics system. The results of the position resolution test were 2.7mm and 4.5mm, respectively. The experimental results show that the performance of boron coated straw and its readout electronics system meets the needs of CPHS small angle scattering spectrometer for neutron position measurement.
