固定资产投资是国民经济发展的原动力,对社会经济的发展起着巨大的推动作用。新中国成立后,党和政府十分重视发展我省的建设事业,特别是党的十一届三中全会以来,改革开放的东风更为我省建设领域各项事业的振兴创造了良好的发展机遇。从1950年到1993年的45年间,全省国有单位累计完成固定资产投资1647.95亿元。由基本建设投资而新增加的固定资产达703.94亿元,相当于解放前遗留工业固定资产总和的430多倍。经过45年的艰苦创业,不仅从根本上改变了旧河南“一穷二白”的落后面貌,同时也为我省各个时期国民经济的快速发展提供了坚实可靠的物质技术保障。
Investment in fixed assets is the driving force behind the development of the national economy and plays a huge role in promoting social and economic development. Since the founding of new China, the party and the government have attached great importance to the development of our province’s construction. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Party Central Committee in particular, the reform and opening to the outside world have created good opportunities for the revitalization of various undertakings in the construction of our province . During the 45 years from 1950 to 1993, the state-owned units in the province accumulated a total of 164.795 billion yuan in investment in fixed assets. The newly increased fixed assets from capital construction amounted to 70.394 billion yuan, equivalent to more than 430 times the sum of the remaining industrial fixed assets before the liberation. After 45 years of arduous pioneering, not only has it fundamentally changed the backwardness of the “poor and the bad” in the old Henan Province, it has also provided a solid and reliable material and technical support for the rapid development of the national economy in various periods in our province.
