Cells are constantly in contact with the surrounding environment. These connections, which are mainly made through cell adhesion, are crucial for the differentiation and growth of cells. In the event of an error, they may lead to disease states such as cancer [1-2]. In fact, changes in cell adhesion can be observed at every stage of tumorigenesis and metastasis as cancer progresses [3]. Cell adhesion includes cell-cell adhesion and cell-extracellular matrix (cell-ECM) adhesions. The former refers to direct cell-to-cell contact and the latter refers to the cell-extracellular matrix
