I. INTRODUCTION The Dongjiang arch dam is located in the south of Hunan Province with a maximum dam height of 155 meters. The dam was designed by the Changsha Survey and Design Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power and the Beijing Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research in Beijing for technical design and was supported by Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences assist. Started in September 58, September 59 came to an end, made a trial load calculation, thin shell calculation and structural model tests at the same time, in order to check the calculation results. Due to the supply of cement and other equipment, the project halted in the second quarter of this year and the design of the dam
