西部大开发给西部的经济带来了腾飞,同时也为西部高校体育的发展代来了机遇。但是,地处经济还比较落后的西部,高校学生体育生活状况的研究到目前为止国内对这方面的关注度还是比较少的。据分析,西部地区大学生体育锻炼的时间、次数不足,组织、辅导跟不上,实际锻炼效果不够理想。究其原因,体育意识薄弱是影响西部经济欠发达地区大学生参加体育活动的主观因素,还有诸如经济因素、场地设施不足、体育器材少以及传统的体育教学影响了学生体育锻炼习惯和能力的培养等的客观因素。笔者运用问卷调查、文献资料调研,数理统计等方法,对经济比较落后的陕西、甘肃、青海三省部分高校大学生体育生活现状进行探究。目的是为了提高西部大学生淡薄的体育理念和终身体育锻炼的意识,确保每一个学生都有享受体育教育的权利。其宗旨在于为了深化体育教学改革提供科学的依据,为全面、系统、科学地评价这一群体活动现状,促进与改善西部大学生的体质,实施科学有效的宏观管理起到一个抛砖引玉的作用。

The purpose is to improve the western college students weak sports philosophy and lifelong physical training awareness, to ensure that every student has the right to enjoy physical education. Its purpose is to provide a scientific basis for deepening the reform of PE teaching and to serve as a valuable guide to evaluating the status quo of this group of activities comprehensively, systematically and scientifically, promoting and improving the constitution of western college students and implementing scientific and effective macro management.
