本研究以中国和日本英语学习者为对象,旨在探讨时体习得中的母语影响和动词情态体因素。研究工具是考察过去时语境中动词原形和进行体使用的错误辨识改正题。研究设计中,因变量为试题成绩,自变量为母语因素、语言水平、情态体因素和错误类型。研究者利用方差分析对结果进行了分析。根据结果,日本学习者对错误的进行体的瞬时动词和状态动词表现出了较高的接受度,显示出较强的母语影响。然而,中国学习者并没有受到无语法时的母语的影响,相反,他们对过去时语境中的动词原形错误表现出了较好的辨识度。结果也没有发现体的假说所预测的行为动词和进行体的紧密联系。研究者对以上结果进行了深入的分析讨论。
This study is aimed at English learners in China and Japan, and aims to explore the influence of native language and the modality of verbs in body learning. The research tool is to examine the correctness of mistaken identification of the verb prototype and body use in the context of the past tense. In the research design, the dependent variable is the result of the test item, and the independent variable is the native language factor, the language level, the modality factor and the wrong type. The researchers used ANOVA to analyze the results. According to the results, Japanese learners showed a higher acceptance of the transient verbs and verbs of the wrong performing body, demonstrating strong mother tongue influence. However, Chinese learners are not influenced by their mother tongue when they have no grammar. Instead, they show a better recognition of the verb prototype errors in the context of the past tense. The results also did not reveal the close relationship between behavioral verbs and body predicted by the hypothesis of the body. The researchers conducted in-depth analysis and discussion of the above results.
