自去年8月省文化厅在新会召开图书馆改革座谈会以后,兴宁县图书馆于当年10月成立“图书馆事业发展基金会”,订立了基金会章程,并取得县委宣传部、文化局的重视支持,向社会各界进行广泛宣传,取得了初步成效。至5月份止,基金会已收到一些关心图书馆事业发展的各界人士的捐款一万二千多元。这些捐资人员中,既有旅港知名人士、嘉应商会会长罗焕昌、副会长刘宇新、华侨王清林先生的大力支持,又有
