如何让英语专业精读课的定位和发展符合时代的要求是国内众多英语教学工作者聚焦的热点之一。本文通过阐释隐喻的普遍性和隐喻能力,认为专业精读课应该将构建学习者的概念系统,培养学生的隐喻能力作为新的教学目标之一,努力将精读课打造成提高语言能力、文化素养和思维发展的平台。本文还结合课堂实践提出提高学生隐喻能力的途径和方法。
How to make the positioning and development of intensive English courses meet the requirements of the times is one of the hot spots that many English teaching workers in China focus on. By interpreting the universality and metaphorical abilities of metaphor, this paper argues that the intensive reading class should regard the construction of the conceptual system of learners and the cultivation of students’ metaphorical ability as one of the new teaching objectives, and try to make the intensive reading class to improve the language ability, cultural accomplishment and A platform for thinking and development. This article also puts forward ways and means to improve students’ metaphorical ability by combining classroom practice.
