省港罢工工人纠察队是中国工人阶级的伟大创举,是中国共产党建立工人革命武装的初次尝试。这支中国职工运动史上最早的工人革命武装,其矛头是针对帝国主义的。正如中国早期工人运动领袖邓中夏所说:“省港罢工是中华民族反帝国主义的先锋队,纠察队是省港罢工站在前敌与帝国主义搏战的先锋队,所以纠察队是中华民族反帝国主义先锋队的先锋队。”本文拟就这支工人武装的建立、功绩及其特点等问题作些探讨。
