素质教育是教育改革和发展的趋势,也是社会进步、民族素质提高的必然要求。素质教育的提出和全面实施对作为基础学科之一的英语教学产生了重要的影响。那么,英语教学如何适应形势发展需要,以切实推动素质教育在基础教育领域的开展?笔者认为,首先须从改革课堂教学入手,课堂教学是实施素质教育的主渠道,应努力使其得到真正的优化。
Quality education is the trend of education reform and development, and it is also the inevitable requirement of social progress and national quality improvement.
