In a preliminary analysis of the market volatility in Guangzhou in recent years, we find that the situation in Guangzhou and the whole country is roughly the same. This is partly because, despite the rapid development of the export-oriented economy in Guangzhou in recent years, the direct impact of the domestic market on the Guangzhou market is still the Guangzhou market On the other hand, the market operation mechanism and system in Guangzhou have not completely been freed from the old system by the reform of Guangzhou. They still maintain the same market mechanism as the whole country.
