一九五五年秋季,我校开始办高中。师资和设备条件均差。几个物理教师都不是学物理的,教龄短,教学质量不高,学生高考成绩很差。最初他们都对提高物理教学质量缺乏信心,总希望另派业务能力强的教师来。支部下决心改变这种状况。确定一个党员校长深入理化组加强领导。结合党的教育方针和党的八届八中全会文件的学习,就政治与业务的关系,教学质量能否提高,怎样才能提高等问题进行了辩论。教师们破除了“资格论”、“唯条件论”等等右倾思想,工作向前跃进了一步。经过半年的努力,高三两个(?)的物(?)成绩有了显著提高。学生对物理概念的理解较前深透了,实验操作的技能技巧较前熟练了,解决实际问题的能力较前加强了。今年寒假统考物理平均分数比去年高考提高了三十六点五分,跃上重庆市第三名。
In the autumn of 1955, our school started to run high school. Teachers and equipment conditions are poor.
