武汉工业锅炉总厂始建于1958年,是机械电子工业部定点生产工业锅炉及钢质高压空气瓶的骨干重点企业,获有国家劳动人事部颁发的C级锅炉制造许可证.工厂现有职工1400名,各类专业技术人员160名,固定资产1000余万元,年产工业锅炉2000蒸吨。产品主要有0.5-10吨/时各种规格的蒸气锅炉及100万千卡-600万千卡热水锅炉,气瓶产品有2-410公升共12个品种。1988年1月,工厂设计的立式换热除尘器获得国家专利。产品销售立足本省,面向全国并在各地设有经销服务网点。“六五”“七五”期间,国家将工厂列为全国工业锅炉重点技术改造企业一,
