胡主席最近提出,要围绕强化官兵精神支柱,大力培育“忠诚于党,热爱人民,报效国家,献身使命,崇尚荣誉”的当代革命军人核心价值观。这一重要指示能不能在部队建设中得到有效落实,关键在于军队各级党组织。各级党组织应当充分认清培育当代革命军人核心价值观的重大意义,切实把它放在党委、支部工作的重要议事日程上,发挥好核心领导作用。
Recently, President Hu proposed to focus on strengthening the spiritual pillar of officers and soldiers and vigorously cultivate the core values of the contemporary revolutionary military personnel that are “loyal to the party, love the people, serve the country, dedicate themselves to the mission, and respect honor.” Whether or not this important instruction can be effectively implemented in the building of the armed forces lies with the party organizations at all levels of the armed forces. Party organizations at all levels should fully recognize the great significance of cultivating the core values of the contemporary revolutionary military and effectively place it on the important agenda for the work of party committees and branch offices so as to give play to their core leadership role.
