我队正在勘探的万宝高岭土矿出露于滨海平原与岗丘接壤地带,地下水面离地表2米左右,部分为沼泽,地下涌水量大。高岭土是混合花岗岩风化而成,颗粒一般在30微米至1毫米之间,结构松软,掘进时少量用镐,大部分用锹就可挖掘。在含水层掘进时,高岭土随地下水从井壁流入井内,如果支护不当,将边掘进边流入,没有进尺,造成井壁流空而坍塌,给施工带来极大困难。一九七九年东沟县县办地质队曾在该矿区一个山坡上估计涌水量较小的地方施工一个浅井,采用铁皮筒护壁,掘进到7米深时,高岭土随地下水从井壁流入井内,造成井壁坍塌,被迫停工。
The Wanbao kaolin mine that our team is exploring is exposed in the coastal plain and Gangqiu bordering area.
