按照我国超常儿童研究协作组的观点,超常儿童主要是指智能发展显著高于同年龄常态儿童发展水平,或具有某方面特殊才能的儿童。国外称之为天才儿童。我国超常儿童研究协作组的工作已开展了5年,其初步研究成果通过了鉴定。中国科技大学的少年班也已取得了成功经验,培养出一批人才,得到了中央负责同志的肯定。实践证明,超常儿童教育是早出人才、快出人才的一个途径。超常儿童教育中存在着不少有待研究的问题。下面介绍一些国外有关材料。
According to our group, the abnormal children mainly refer to those children who have a significantly higher level of intellectual development than normal children of the same age or possess special talents in a certain area.
