硅素在植物营养生理上,虽然还没有把它列为必需的营养元素,但它在农业生产上的作用,越来越被人们所认识。近年来,在国外对硅肥的试验研究的报告却逐渐增多;许多试验表明,硅肥对于农作物,特别是水稻、甘蔗等作物单产的提高和产品品质的改善均有良好的作用,因此已引起许多国家科学工作者的重视,特别是日本,对硅肥的研究已进行了多年,并取得不少的成果。硅肥 的施用量每年已超过100万吨(指硅矿渣);其他国家也开始引起重视。为了吸取国外有益的经验,以便推动我省农业生产的迅速发展,现把硅肥在生产上的作用等综合加以介绍。
