Online courses (also known as distance learning) are a hot new trend in education in the United States today. According to the information of the non-profit organization’s distance learning and training committee, 400 major schools in the U.S. plan to provide some courses online. In terms of university courses, they spend the same money as traditional teaching methods. Online teaching has similar weekly assignments and reading tasks. The difference between the two is in the form of participation in the classroom.
