当今社会是一个信息化的社会,信息充斥人们生活的各个角落,电视、广播、报纸、杂志、碟、盘等等媒介发送的信息多如牛毛。对此,人们就要筛选、压缩,抓住主要信息或信息的主要内容,以便用极短的时间了解尽可能多的信息。这就需要人们具有概括压缩能力,因此,2000年高考考试说明语言知识和语言表达中压缩语段的要求就应运而生了。此类题一般是给一段新闻材料,要求压缩主要内容或为之拟一条导语,或者拟一标题,例如1999年高考题第五题26小题,2000年春季高考题第五题(1)(2)题。现以2000年春季高考题第五题为例,谈谈语段压缩的具体操作方法。第一步仔细审题。指导学生抓住要求的要点,才能准确压缩。此题目有三点要抓住:一是“压缩”,二是“压缩后的内容包含具体的营业收入状况”(隐含的信息是压缩后的内容不包括什么),三是“不超过80个字”。
