PURPOSE: To demonstrate the presence of plasma / blood cell isolated fluorescent patterns in fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) of Coats disease. Methods: From January 1981 to December 1994 in our hospital Coats disease fundus fluorescein angiography and angiography records. Results: In 75 eyes of 79 Coats disease, in 12 eyes (15.2%) of the fundus vascular lesions, some micro-aneurysms were found in addition to the obvious fluorescein leakage, and the emergence of plasma / blood cell fluorescence separation form. CONCLUSIONS: The authors believe that any slowing of blood flow and deposition of blood cells in cystic dilated aneurysms may result in the appearance of fluorescent / plasma-separated fluorescence patterns in the late stages of FFA.
