等值控制卸荷阀是由后控光导式溢流阀和单向阀组合而成。与传统卸荷阀的差别是:在结构上没有导阀控制活塞和导阀套;在性能方面,其卸荷压力和加载压力值十分接近,两值差约1％。而传统的卸荷阀其卸荷压力比加载压力高15％～20％;在应用上,等值控制卸荷阀不能应用于单泵工作（带蓄能器）卸荷的液压系统。而在不同额定工作压力的双泵双合分流液压系统中,作单泵卸荷十分理想。
