西夏是1038-1127年存在于我国西北地区的以党项族为主体的一个多民族政权。其武功赫赫,先后与北宋、辽以及南宋、金成鼎立之势;其文教颇盛,地处丝绸之路要冲,汇集四方文化于己身。其中最集中的体现便是西夏的佛教。西夏在未建国之前就已与藏传佛教有若干联系,特别是在西夏中后期,藏传佛教的发展势头更是迅猛。及至西夏灭亡,仍然有很大影响。本文拟就学界尚少关注的西夏与辽、金间的佛教文化交流略作论述。
Xixia is a multi-ethnic state with ethnic clans as its mainstay in northwestern China from 1038 to 1127. Its martial arts Hehe, successively with the Northern Song Dynasty, Liao and Southern Song Dynasty, Jin Cheng Ding potential; its culture and education rather Sheng, is located in the Silk Road, blunt, bringing together the Quartet culture in oneself. One of the most concentrated manifestation is the Buddhist in Xixia. Before the founding of the PRC, Xixia had some connections with Tibetan Buddhism. Especially in the middle and late Western Xia Dynasty, the development momentum of Tibetan Buddhism was even more rapid. Until the demise of Western Xia, still have a great impact. This article attempts to make a brief discussion on the Buddhist cultural exchanges between Xixia and Liao and Jin Dynasties, which scholars pay little attention to.
