广西早二叠世地层发育,分布广泛,其岩性以碳酸盐岩为主,硅质岩次之。厚度可达一千五百余米,含(竹蜓)类化石极为丰富。早二叠世的(竹蜓)类除了希瓦格(竹蜓)科进一步发展演化外,并出现了较复杂的费伯克(竹蜓)超科的分子,为(竹蜓)类发展的鼎盛阶段。 笔者在研究广西早二叠世(竹蜓)类化石时,发现一新的类型(竹蜓)——广西(竹蜓)(新属)(Guangxiellagen.nov.),它和Nankinella及Pisolina均有某些相似之处,但又具特大初房可资区别。它的发现不仅丰富了(竹蜓)类化石,而且对于研究(竹蜓)类演化和地层的划分对比均有一定的意义。其化石产地如图所示。 本文描述标本及文稿承林甲兴、朱秀芳审阅,标本由广西第四地质队和广西石油地质大队采集,在此顺致谢忱。
Early Permian strata in Guangxi are widely distributed and widely distributed. Their lithology is dominated by carbonate rocks, followed by siliceous rocks.
