能否有工人直接选举出来的、和资方进行有力谈判的工会主席?能否有为工人良好的劳动环境、足额的工资和有保障的社会福利奔走的代言人?在私企相对比较发达的沿海地区,工人们的这种期待正在一些外向型企业里变成现实。一些企业基层工会改革已经拉开序幕,工人直接选举自己信任的工会正副主席,从而塑造一个能和资方博弈的“直选工会组织”。实际上,许多私营企业的这种变革是出于对其欧美客户(销售商)的“迎合”——入世前后,这些企业陆续与西方客户签订了必须接受他们劳工权益保护评估
