Laryngoscopes are one of the few medical devices that have not been innovative for more than half a century. OPUS ONE KUNIMOTO This device is completely redesigned to adapt to changing medical areas such as anesthesia, intensive care and emergencies. Designers want to address endotracheal intubation medical incidents by increasing maneuverability and using the appropriate power-enhancing features. The transparent blade incorporates a high-intensity light source and the scattering angle of the high-brightness LED light source used is broadened to improve operator visibility and make the device easier to use in dark environments without electricity and light sources. The design received the 2015 Australian Design Award category product category.
