In 1956, east of Jiefang Junction in Xining City, 76 foundations of the Persian Sassanian silver coin were discovered on the east side of the foundation for the construction of the office building of Qinghai Province Food Hall. The famous archaeologist Xia Xun at that time concluded that: Persian silver coins were found in batches at the same location, proving that Xining was on the tunnel of the ancient Chinese and Western traffic overland traffic lines. Related to this is that the origin of the Silk Road, Xi’an, also found the same Persian silver many, which further shows that “the ancient Chinese and Western traffic on the road traffic channel” is the famous silk auxiliary Road - “ Qinghai Road ”, or Silk Road“ Qinghai Road. ”
