所谓短新闻,应该是浓缩新闻事实精华的新闻精品。首先它的新闻价值要高,其次它的篇幅要短。可以用“言简意深”来说明短新闻的特点。如何写好短新闻?我的体会是:写好短新闻,一是提炼主题要“精”;二是选取材料要“精”;三是文字写作要“精”。提炼主题要“精”何为主题?主题应该是一篇新闻作品提出的重要问题和体现的中心思想,是选择和组织新闻材料的依据,也是贯穿新闻写作过程的主要线索。用通俗的话说,主题是一篇作品中“画龙点睛”之笔,没有这一笔,短新闻也就失去了“灵魂”。

Without it, short news also loses its “soul.”
