电影与机器时代的另一层关系则是对这种充满了大机器时代生活的记录,其中也不乏对机器的崇拜。机器与电影之间其实有着一种很深的关联性。它们不但都是工业革命时代的产物,电影更是现代工业机械中的一部分。没有工业革命时代机器工业的革命与支撑,“电影”终归只能停留在18世纪前的各种动画玩具和装置上。电影与机器时代的另一层关系则是自其问世以来,对这种充满了大机器时代生活的记录,其中也不乏对机器的崇拜。这甚至可能是电影中第一个关于现代生活的表象。它也折射着人们用电影对生活的诠释。
Another layer of relationship between the movie and the machine era is the record of this life full of large machines, of which there is no lack of worship of the machine.
