冀84—5418是河北省农科院粮油作物所育成的综合抗性强、可塑性大、优质、高产、稳产、早熟的冬小麦新品种。它不仅适应于河北省中南部,而且在整个黄淮麦区具有较广泛的适应能力。1988年8月和1989年8月分别由河南、河北两省品种审定委员会通过认定、预审。1989年和1990年,先后被农业部和国家科委列为科技成果重点推广项目。推广面积发展较快,1989年收获面积20万亩,1990年发展到300多万亩,1991年达1000万亩以上。
Hebei 84-5418 is a new winter wheat variety with high comprehensive resistance, large plasticity, high quality, high yield, stable yield and precocity bred by Hebei Academy of Agricultural Sciences grain and oil crops. It not only adapted to the central and southern Hebei Province, but also has a wide range of adaptability in the Huanghuai Wheat Area. August 1988 and August 1989 respectively, by the Henan and Hebei provinces identified by the Commission, pre-trial. In 1989 and 1990, it was successively listed as a key promotion project of scientific and technological achievements by the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Science and Technology Commission. The area for its promotion has been developing rapidly. In 1989, it harvested an area of 200,000 mu. It developed to over 3 million mu in 1990 and reached over 10 million mu in 1991.
