兹将中华人民共和国国务院关于“内务部和各级民政部门掌管的农村户口登记、统计工作和国籍工作移交公安部和各级公安部门接管”的通知转发各地,希即遵照执行。兹对交接工作和完成一九五五年人口登记、统计工作中应注意的问题通知如下:一、各级民政、公安部门应于二月底前交接完毕。交接时,各级民政部门除了将一九五三年人口调查和以后建立户口登记制度的文件、材料、簿册、统计表格等档案以及处理国籍工作的有关档案向各级公安部门移交外,各县民政科还应该把一九五五年农村户口登记工作进行一次总结,工作总结交县公安局二份(其中一份报送省公安厅)。
