1962年作者根据水稻三化螟在南京地区的光周期反应和溫度对其作用的研究初步指出:在南京地区三化螟有明显的光周期反应,其光周期反应特点属于长日照类型。秋季光周期逐漸縮短,是影响第三代三化螟产生滞育、进入越冬的重要生态因素之一。为了进一步分析三化螟滞育物候的发生条件,又在1963年继續研究了水稻三化螟在南京地区光周反应的感应虫期,茲将实驗結果,整理如下,以供参考。
In 1962, according to the research on the photoperiodic response and temperature effect of the rice stem borer, Chilo suppressalis (Walker), in Nanjing, China, it was initially pointed out that there was a significant photoperiodic response to the rice stem borer in Nanjing, and the photoperiodic response was of the long-day type. The photoperiod was shortened in autumn and was one of the important ecological factors that affected diapause of the third generation yellow rice borer and entered winter. In order to further analyze the occurrence conditions of rice borer diapause, but also in 1963 continue to study the rice stem borer in Nanjing area photoperiod-sensitive reaction period, the experimental results are summarized below for reference.
