5月19日,第67届世界卫生大会在瑞士日内瓦召开。国家卫生计生委副主任、国家中医药管理局局长王国强率中国代表团出席会议,并在“气候与健康之间的联系”为主题的大会一般性辩论中发言。他指出,发挥中医药优势,提升应对气候异常变化和促进人类健康的能力。王国强指出,中国应对气候变化危害健康的形势严峻,愿意按照《联合国气候变化框架公约》的原则,与各方携手合作、共同应对。国际社会应提升对气候变化与健康关系的认知和重视,加强卫生系统
On May 19, the 67th World Health Assembly was held in Geneva, Switzerland. Wang Guoqiang, deputy director of the State Health and Family Planning Commission and director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, led a delegation from China to attend the conference and made a speech in the general debate of the General Assembly on “Linkages between Climate and Health.” He pointed out that giving full play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine will enhance its ability to cope with abnormal changes in the climate and promote human health. Wang Guoqiang pointed out that China is facing a serious threat to the health of climate change and is willing to work together with all parties to jointly cope with it in accordance with the principles of the “UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.” The international community should raise its awareness and emphasis on the relationship between climate change and health and strengthen the health system
