天津博物馆的藏玉,在馆内各类藏品中是比较系统和全面的,按时代说,始自新石器时代晚期,终至清代,代代有序;从器型上说,有生产工具、装饰玉、礼仪仪仗器、陈设观赏器、实用器等,多种多样。聚赏珍玉—馆藏中国古代玉器陈列展览,充分利用了馆藏玉器的特点与优势,并结合我国60多年来考古发掘玉器的成果和目前学术界对玉器研究的状况,打破以往单纯展现玉器发展
