睡眠能够促进记忆巩同。一种被广泛接受的看法认为这是由于新编码的记忆在睡眠时被再度激活。来自德国的一篇研究报告指出,睡觉前在有玫瑰香气的房间里学习的人,之后当其处于慢波睡眠时接触同样气味,其新记忆随着气味暗示被再度激活而进一步强化。
Sleep can promote the same memory. A widely accepted belief is that this is because the newly encoded memory is reactivated during sleep. A study from Germany reports that people who studied in a rose-scented room before going to sleep touched the same scent when they were in a slow-wave sleep and their new memory was further strengthened as the scent was reactivated.
