构建社会主义和谐社会,把提高构建社会主义和谐社会的能力作为加强党的执政能力建设的重要内容,是党的十六大和十六届三中、四中全会提出的重大任务。构建社会主义和谐社会战略任务的提出,体现了我们党对中国特色社会主义事业认识的新拓展。它表明,随着我国经济社会的发展,中国特色社会主义事业的总体布局更加明确地由社会主义经济建设、政治建设、文化建设三位一体,发展为社会主义经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设四位一体。构建和谐社会是一项涉及经济、政治、文化等各个领域的社会系统工程。
To build a socialist harmonious society and to enhance the ability to build a socialist harmonious society as an important part of strengthening the party’s ability to govern is a major task put forward by the Party’s 16th CPC National Congress and the 3rd, 4th Plenary Sessions of the 16th CPC Central Committee. The formulation of the strategic task of building a harmonious socialist society embodies our party’s new understanding of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It shows that with the economic and social development in our country, the overall layout of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics is more explicitly governed by the economic integration, political construction and cultural construction of the socialist economy. It has also been developed into a system of socialist economic construction, political construction, cultural construction and social construction Four in one. Building a harmonious society is a social system project involving various fields such as economy, politics and culture.
