First, the question raised Since 2003, we have shifted from the original outline of mathematics teaching materials to mathematics curriculum teaching materials (here refers to the PEP and Beijing Normal University version of the standard teaching materials, the same below), so far four years. The curriculum teaching materials embody the concept of the new curriculum. They have indeed changed the status of “complicated, difficult, partial, old, and biased book knowledge” existing in the outline teaching materials. They are created with fresh examples of both mathematical value and contemporary flavor.
