各行各业都有一批具有专长技艺的老工人。他们的专长技艺是长期实践的经验总结,是国家的财富。沈阳开展群众技术协作活动以来吸引了许多老工人参加。他们在协助解决生产技术关键方面起了很大的作用,有不少人成了技术协作活动的积极分子。如擅长大厚度钢料切割的老工人李贵,对铸铝焊接很拿手的老工人吕德顺,“刀具大王” 金福长,杨氏三兄弟——焊接老工人杨振孟兄弟三人,机床修理能手张朝明……等。组织这些老工人把他们的专长技艺傅授给青年工人,是技术协作活动的重要内容之一。许多老工人感慨地说:“我们老工人岁数一年此一年大了,眼看许多青年掌握了我们的技术,心里真高兴。我们也有接班人了!” All walks of life have a group of old workers with expertise and skills.
