开发开放浦东,是邓小平同志生前亲自倡导,以江泽民同志为核心的党的第三代领导集体英明决策,市委、市政府精心组织实施的一项跨世纪的国家战略。经过15年的开发建设,浦东初步建成了一个外向型、多功能、现代化新城区的框架,实现了经济社会高起点、跨越式的发展,成为“上海现代化建设的缩影”和“中国改革开放的象征”。回顾浦东开发开放的15年历程,我们更加深切地体会到,浦东开发开放是邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想的生动实践,是党领导人民推进改革开放和社会主义现代化事业的成功范例。浦东开发开放取得的成就,源于党中央、国务院的英明决策,源于全国和全市人民的大力支持,源于市委、市政府的坚强领导。
The development and opening up of Pudong is a trans-century national strategy elaborated and implemented by the third-generation leading collective of the third generation led by Comrade Deng Xiaoping during his lifetime as advocated by Comrade Jiang Zemin and carefully elaborated and implemented by the municipal party committee and municipal government. After 15 years of development and construction, Pudong has initially built a framework of an export-oriented, multi-functional and modern new metropolitan area, achieving a high starting point and leapfrog development in economy and society and becoming a “miniature of Shanghai’s modernization” and “China’s Symbol of reform and opening up ”. Looking back at the 15-year history of Pudong’s development and opening up, we have come to understand that Pudong’s development and opening up is a vivid practice of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thinking of the ’Three Represents.’ It is the party’s leading people’s success in pushing forward the cause of reform and opening up and the socialist modernization example. The achievements made by Pudong during its development and opening up stemmed from the wise decision-making of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council and the strong support from the people of the whole country and the whole city. It stems from the strong leadership of the municipal party committee and municipal government.
