In this paper, the main features of marine vibroseis method for deep seismic sounding in the frequency range from 4 to 12 are studied. The need for geological studies of the continental shelf area calls for research and improvement of new geophysical techniques for this purpose. Among them, especially when using vibroseis method for deep seismic sounding of continental shelf and continental-ocean transition zone, it is best to use high-power marine vibrator. Because it is easier to transport than the same source of onshore vibrator. In addition, deep seismic sounding in the deep ocean need to stimulate the frequency range of 4 to 12, the total radiation energy of more than 100 sources. The general theory of marine vibrators is based on the well-known air bubble resonance properties found in many books
