词汇在语言学习中占重要位置,词汇教学是英语教学的基础。学生如果词汇掌握得不扎实,直接影响随后的对话学习和短文学习,影响英语学习者听,说,读,写各项能力的发展,影响思想交流。但在小学英语学习阶段,由于学生年龄小,有意注意的时间短,记忆单词所花的精力少,所以课堂教学显得尤为重要。那么,教师如何在短短的教学中,通过有效的呈现方式手段,让小学生一接触目标词汇就建立深刻的感知印象,从而加深记忆,促进词汇的储存和提取呢?这就要对词汇呈现进行深入研究。词汇呈现方式影响着词汇学习、记忆的质量。然而,目前词汇呈现方式的现状是:教师对于词汇呈现方式不关注、不重视、不研究。现今,课堂中教师大多是单一地采用“图片、实物”等媒体呈现方式,虽然其直观性强,对词汇理解、记忆的确有一定的作用,但重复的直观刺激让孩子日益疲倦,他们需要的是激发学习热情,发展思维能力,有助于记忆、理解、运用的词汇呈现方式。

Nowadays, most teachers in the classroom use the media presentation such as “pictures, real objects” and so on. Although they are intuitive and have a definite effect on vocabulary comprehension and memory, repetitive and intuitive stimuli make their children increasingly tired. What is needed is to stimulate learning enthusiasm, develop thinking skills, and contribute to the memory, understanding, use of the word presentation.
