As at 12 o’clock on August 26, 2013, the two gas sources of the PetroChina Emu River Natural Gas Project have provided domestic air supply of 602.2 × 108 m3. Among them, the project on the right bank of the Amu River provides 169.9 × 108 m3 of gas and the project of Khonzangen Turkmenistan supplies 432.3 × 108 m3. Natural gas from Turkmenistan has ranked first in the domestic gas supply pipe network. As an important part of its “Gasification China” energy strategy, PetroChina’s Am River natural gas project has been continuously refurbishing natural gas output since its commencement of production on December 14, 2009
