建国以来,云南的城镇发展与布局取得了很大成绩。增设发展了一批市制的小城市;原来的城市其规模得到扩大;县级城镇和乡村集镇也得到不同程度的发展。但是由于受到错误路线的干扰,使城镇的发展未能达到应有的水平。存在的问题较多。城镇的等级体系很不完善,或者说还未形成体系;多数城镇的性质不定、职能不明确、城镇间缺乏分工与协作,所有的城镇都是“大而全”,甚至“小而全”,千篇一律,抹杀了城镇的个性与特色;城镇的发展缺乏区域的研究,很多城镇并未发挥它作为区域中心的作用,未能很好地带动其吸引地区经 Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, great achievements have been made in the urban development and layout in Yunnan.
