In 1991, HP introduced four new products in HP64700 series microprocessor development equipment, all of which are HP64700 simulator / analyzer. The basic components are plug-in box, simulator plug-in and analog-bus-analyzer plug-in. Part, the main difference is that the simulator is different, so the use of the occasion is not the same. The Analog Bus Analyzer offers a variety of methods for tracking the flow of microprocessor code using a dual-bus system for real-time, non-intrusive analysis without interrupting the processor’s execution. The analyzer can trigger or store arbitrary micro-operations or store only the specified execution information.
