中华人民共和国广东海事局是在原交通部广州海上安全监督局和原广东省港务监督局的基础上于2000年1月合并组建成立,为交通部驻粤的直属正厅级机构。广东海事局在全省(除深圳外)设有20个地市一级海事局,在有关重要港口、县(市)设89个海事处及121个办事处,并设广州、汕头、湛江、北海4个航标处,以及海测大队、船员管理中心、后勤服务中心、船舶交通管理中心(VTS)等工作机构,现有在职人员3897人,
The Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration of the People’s Republic of China was established on the basis of the Guangzhou Maritime Safety Supervision Bureau of the former Ministry of Communications and the former Port Authority of Guangdong Province in January 2000 and is directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Communications in Guangdong. Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration has set up 20 municipalities and MSAs in the province (excluding Shenzhen), 89 maritime offices and 121 offices in important ports, counties (cities) and Guangzhou, Shantou, Zhanjiang, Beihai 4 Aid Service, as well as the Marine Corps, crew management center, logistics service center, ship traffic management center (VTS) and other agencies, the existing staff of 3897 people,
